Terms and Conditions

Welcome to SkillTribe.io! By accessing and using our website, courses, and services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Access and Use of Service

Your access to and use of SkillTribe.io ("the Service") are subject to acceptance and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Coaching Disclaimer

SkillTribe.io provides coaching services designed to help you enhance your skills and advance your career. However:

  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

  • Any career progress, promotions, or other benefits depend on your individual efforts, the implementation of advice, and factors beyond our control.

By using our services, you acknowledge that SkillTribe.io is not liable for any outcomes related to the use of our coaching, materials, or advice.

3. Client Privacy and Confidentiality

To protect the privacy of all clients and participants past and present:

  • You agree to keep confidential any references, stories, or examples shared by SkillTribe.io about past or current clients, including examples of LinkedIn profiles, strategies, or personal success stories.

  • You may not record, replicate, or share any information from group sessions or coaching discussions outside the program.

  • Breaching this confidentiality agreement may result in immediate termination of your access to SkillTribe.io services without a refund and could lead to legal action.

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All materials provided by SkillTribe.io, including course content, videos, presentations, worksheets, templates, and other proprietary resources, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

  • Materials are for your personal, non-commercial use only as part of the course or program.

  • You may not copy, distribute, share, reproduce, or reuse any part of the materials without prior written consent from SkillTribe.io.

  • Unauthorized use of these materials may result in termination of your access to the program and legal action.

All intellectual property remains the sole property of SkillTribe.io and may not be used outside the scope of the program.

5. Payment and Payment Plans

  • By purchasing services or programs, you agree to pay the full price of the program or service, including if you opt for a payment plan.

  • If you choose a payment plan, you are legally obligated to pay the full agreed amount, even if you discontinue the program or stop using the services.

  • Failure to complete payment as agreed may result in collection actions, and you may be responsible for legal and administrative fees incurred in recovering the outstanding balance.

Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe, and you agree to abide by their terms in addition to these Terms.

​VAT Exemption:
SkillTribe.io provides vocational training services that are VAT-exempt under Paragraph 3(3), Schedule 1 of the VAT Consolidation Act 2010. Therefore, VAT is not charged on our programmes or coaching services.

6. Refund Policy

No Refunds Except for Extenuating Circumstances.


All sales are final. SkillTribe.io does not offer refunds for coaching services, courses, or any other offerings under any circumstances, except in cases where SkillTribe.io is unable to provide the services due to extenuating circumstances such as injury, illness, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, refunds will be issued for services not yet provided, at SkillTribe.io's sole discretion.

By purchasing our services, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

7. Timeframe to Use Services

Clients are required to use the services within the agreed timeframe:

  • The Offer Accelerator: 8 weeks from the program start date.

  • 1:1 Coaching Programs: 12 weeks from the program start date.

If sessions are not used within these timeframes, they will expire, and SkillTribe.io is not obligated to deliver the unused services or issue refunds or credits. It is the responsibility of the client to schedule and attend all sessions within the applicable timeframe.

Extensions may be granted in extenuating circumstances (e.g., illness or emergencies) at SkillTribe.io's sole discretion, provided written notice is given before the program expires.

8. Use of Data and Likeness

  • By participating in SkillTribe.io services, you may be invited to provide a testimonial after securing a new job offer and handing in your notice. Any use of your audio, video, or written feedback for promotional purposes will only occur with your explicit, written consent. Testimonials will never disclose confidential or sensitive information from coaching sessions.

  • SkillTribe.io may also share anonymised and fictionalised examples inspired by real client experiences for educational or promotional purposes (e.g., social media posts, newsletters, case studies, or training content). These examples may reflect general themes — such as salary uplift, time to offer, or employer type — but will not include any personal details (e.g., name, photo, company, or other specifics that could reasonably identify an individual). To further protect anonymity, attributes such as name, employer, gender, or timing may be changed.

  • These illustrative stories are designed to inspire and educate — not to reveal. Occasionally, other clients may have similar experiences (e.g., receiving offers from the same company), and stories reflecting these patterns may still be shared during an opt-out period. If you prefer not to have your own anonymised data or experiences used in these examples, you may opt out for up to 12 months by emailing hello@skilltribe.io. If no timeframe is specified, the opt-out will default to 12 months from the date of your request. It is your responsibility to email and confirm this request.

  • From time to time, SkillTribe.io may also show publicly available content (e.g., LinkedIn profiles) as part of private training sessions (e.g., group coaching, online modules, or internal presentations) to illustrate examples of “what good looks like.” These examples are limited to publicly accessible information and will never be shared in public-facing content (e.g., social media, marketing, or press) or tied to any private coaching content without your written consent. If you do not wish your public-facing profile to be shared within private client sessions, you may opt out at any time by emailing hello@skilltribe.io.

  • Additionally, SkillTribe.io may collect and use aggregated, anonymised performance data — such as average time to offer or salary uplift — to assess and communicate the overall effectiveness of its services. This data is compiled across a broad client base and contains no personal identifiers or traceable elements. Its sole purpose is to demonstrate general outcomes and program impact.

9. European and Irish Legislation

SkillTribe.io operates in compliance with Irish and European Union laws, including the Consumer Protection Act 2007, the GDPR, and the Directive on Consumer Rights 2011/83/EU.

Your statutory rights are respected, but SkillTribe.io is not liable for losses beyond those explicitly outlined in these Terms.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold SkillTribe.io harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Breaches of these Terms, or

  • Misuse of our content or services.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • SkillTribe.io and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, resulting from your use of the Service.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to SkillTribe.io in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

SkillTribe.io reserves the right to terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, if you breach these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

14. Changes to Terms

SkillTribe.io reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. No Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

SkillTribe.io makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of its services or content.

16. Cookies

SkillTribe.io uses cookies to improve your experience. By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. Third-Party Payment Services

Payments processed through Stripe or other third-party payment processors are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

SkillTribe.io does not collect or store payment card information. You agree that these payment processors are solely responsible for handling your payment data.
