SkillTribe.io is operated by SkillTribe (CRO number: 744169), a company registered in Ireland, with its registered address at 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, Dublin, D02XE80, Ireland. SkillTribe acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website and its services.

  • Payment data: payment method details processed via Stripe (we do not store card details directly)

  • Communications data: messages sent via email, LinkedIn, or Slack

  • Coaching session data: notes, recordings (via Fireflies AI), and programme progress

  • Community data: activity and posts within The Tribe Slack community

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, geographic location

  • Usage data: how you interact with our website (via Google Analytics)

  • Calendar data: scheduling information where provided

  • LinkedIn profile information where shared voluntarily

We collect data when you:

  • Purchase a programme or service via our website or Stripe payment link

  • Create an account or enrol in a programme

  • Participate in coaching sessions (including recorded sessions via Fireflies AI)

  • Participate in introductory calls (including recorded sessions via Fireflies AI)

  • Join and participate in The Tribe Slack community

  • Contact us by Google Form application, email, LinkedIn, or any other channel

  • Visit our website (via cookies and analytics tools)

4. Legal Basis and Purpose for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the UE GDPR:

6. Session Recordings — Fireflies AI

Coaching sessions may be recorded using Fireflies AI for the purpose of providing replay access and improving coaching quality.

 

The following applies:

  • Clients are informed of recording at the start of each session

  • Recordings are stored within the Fireflies AI platform and are not publicly accessible

  • Group session recordings are only shared with the specific client whose portion is being shared, and only upon request

  • 1:1 session recordings are not shared by default

  • You may request deletion of any recording by contacting hello@skilltribe.io

  • Breakout rooms are not recorded

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our data processors are located outside the European Union,  including in the United States. We ensure that all international transfers of personal data are protected by appropriate safeguards, including:

  • Adequacy decisions by the European Commission

  • The EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable)

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. The following retention periods apply:

  • Data Category: Client programme data (name, email, payment records)

  • Retention Period: 6 years from end of engagement (Irish tax/legal requirements)

  • Data Category: Session recordings (Fireflies AI)

  • Retention Period: 12 months from recording date, then deleted unless retention is requested

​

  • Data Category: Slack community data (onboarding records)

  • Retention Period: 12 months after leaving the community, then deleted on request

​

  • Data Category: Website analytics (Google Analytics)

  • Retention Period: 26 months (Google Analytics default)​

​

  • Data Category: Marketing communications consent records

  • Retention Period: Until consent is withdrawn, plus 1 year

​

  • Data Category: Cookie consent records

  • Retention Period: 12 months

US clients: Our services are governed by Irish and EU law. US-based clients do not benefit from the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off right, but remain entitled to the refund and dispute resolution provisions set out in our Client Terms and Conditions.
