SkillTribe Clients — Terms & Guidelines

Welcome to SkillTribe.io! By accessing and using our website, courses, and services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Access and Use of Service
Your access to and use of SkillTribe.io ("the Service") are subject to acceptance and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Your use of certain features of the Service, including participation in community spaces (such as Slack or private networks), may also be subject to additional terms and guidelines (“Slack - Tribe Community Terms”). By accessing or participating in these spaces, you agree to be bound by those Community Terms, which form part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Coaching Disclaimer
SkillTribe.io provides coaching services designed to help you enhance your skills and advance your career. However:

We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

Any career progress, promotions, or other benefits depend on your individual efforts, the implementation of advice, and factors beyond our control.
By using our services, you acknowledge that SkillTribe.io is not liable for any outcomes related to the use of our coaching, materials, or advice.
SkillTribe.io provides coaching and educational services only and does not act as a recruitment agency or guarantee employment outcomes.
3. Client Privacy and Confidentiality
To protect the privacy of all clients and participants, past and present:

You agree to keep confidential any references, stories, or examples shared by SkillTribe.io about past or current clients.

You may not record, replicate, or share any information from group sessions or coaching discussions outside the program.

Breaching this confidentiality agreement may result in termination without refund and possible legal action.
Recording and Group Sessions
SkillTribe.io may record coaching sessions for the sole purpose of providing temporary replays:

Shared recordings will auto-delete after 30 days

Streaming only (no downloads)

Breakout rooms are never recorded

Progress Pods are not shared unless requested
By participating, you consent to internal use of recordings as described.
Email Privacy
SkillTribe.io communicates via email, Slack and LinkedIn and takes reasonable steps to protect your data. You acknowledge limited risks such as reply-all disclosures.
Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Community Conduct
Clients agree to engage respectfully and professionally in all community spaces (including Slack and group sessions, please see Slack "Tribe" community terms and conditions). SkillTribe.io reserves the right to remove access in cases of inappropriate behaviour, without refund.
4. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All materials provided are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, or reuse content without written consent
Unauthorized use may result in termination and legal action.
5. Payment and Payment Plans
Payment plans are binding once the 14-day cooling-off period has expired. If a client withdraws within the cooling-off period, any instalments already paid will be refunded on a pro-rata basis less the value of any services already delivered. After the cooling-off period, all remaining instalments remain due regardless of whether the client continues to participate in the programme.
Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).
VAT
SkillTribe.io provides vocational training services that may be VAT-exempt under Irish law.
6. Refund Policy
Right of Withdrawal: If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days of purchase. To exercise this right, please notify us in writing at hello@skilltribe.io within 14 days of your purchase date.
Where services have already been partially delivered at the point of withdrawal, you will be entitled to a refund proportionate to the undelivered portion of the programme. No refund will be issued for services already delivered.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights. This right does not apply to clients based outside the EU, EEA, or UK.
All Other Refund Requests: Outside of statutory rights, where a client raises a concern regarding programme delivery, SkillTribe.io will first be given a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue. Where SkillTribe.io is unable to resolve the matter within a reasonable timeframe, a pro-rata refund will be issued reflecting any undelivered portion of the programme.
7. Timeframe to Use Services
Clients must use services within agreed timeframes:

Offer Accelerator: 8 weeks

Leadership Accelerator: 12 weeks

Private 1:1 Coaching: 12 weeks
Unused sessions expire after this period.
Extensions may be granted in extenuating circumstances.
The above timeframes apply to the core programme only. Any extended support is governed separately (see Section 8).
8. Extended Support (Offer-Based Programmes)
Certain programmes (including the Offer Accelerator and Leadership Accelerator) include extended support after completion of the core programme.
Scope of Support
Includes:

Continued access to course materials
-
Access to the private community (“The Tribe”)
-
Weekly asynchronous Slack support (one consolidated response per week)
Definition of “Landing an Offer”
Receipt of a formal job offer (written or verbal).
Client Responsibilities
Support is conditional upon:

Active participation
-
Reasonable implementation of coaching guidance
-
Professional engagement
Fair Use
Support may be limited where usage is excessive or inactive.
Maximum Duration
Support is provided for up to 12 months from programme start date, unless otherwise agreed.
No Guarantee
This support does not guarantee employment or specific outcomes.
9. Use of Data and Likeness
Testimonials and anonymised case studies may be used with consent.
You may opt out of anonymised data use for up to 12 months.
Aggregated, non-identifiable data may be used for performance reporting.
10. European and Irish Legislation
SkillTribe.io operates in accordance with Irish and EU law, including consumer protection and data protection legislation.
If you are based outside Ireland, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under your local laws.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify SkillTribe.io against claims arising from:

Misuse of services
12. Limitation of Liability
SkillTribe.io is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous 6 months.
13. Termination
Access may be terminated if you breach these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Disputes are subject to Irish courts.
15. Changes to Terms
SkillTribe.io may update these Terms with notice.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
16. No Warranties
Services are provided “as is” without warranties.
17. Cookies
Cookies are used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
18. Third-Party Payment Services
Payments are handled by third-party providers. SkillTribe.io does not store payment details.
